Yaletown Pilates is a boutique Pilates studio located at the intersection of Yaletown and Downtown Vancouver and offers a full-fledged, equipment-based studio.

We specialize exclusively in private, one-on-one instruction, taught in the Classical style of Pilates.

Our new, state-of-the-art studio features full amenities— shower facilities, an infrared sauna, change rooms, and more! And for arrival greetings, there is a welcoming reception and lounge area.

Private Sessions

The Pilates method was never created for group learning and is most effective with individual sessions. Yaletown Pilates only offers private 1:1 sessions to help maximize the learning benefits and integrate the Pilates fundamentals to deepen and advance ones practice. Within the comfort of our private setting, clients benefit from individual attention to receive the full learning benefits without intimidation.

Classical Teachings

Classical Pilates, originally called "Contrology" by its creator Joseph Pilates, stays true to his original teachings, without adaptations. It emphasizes precise, detailed movements, appealing to clients who value focus and accuracy. The term "Contrology" is gaining popularity in Classical Pilates to distinguish it from the myriad of modern variations and morphed group classes now offered.

About Kulvinder

Yaletown Pilates was founded and is operated by Kulvinder, an experienced, internationally-certified (NPCP accredited) Pilates Teacher with 26+ years of experience in various lineages of Pilates.
